- I am the mother of two amazing children, ages 6 and 8, who are the light of my life. My husband and I have been married for ten years and are into organic living. Seven years ago, our son regressed into severe autism after multiple vaccinations. As I started searching for some real answers, much to my horror I started to discover how little we knew about the food we eat, the products we use, the chemicals in our environment, and the drugs we put into ourselves for the "sake of staying healthy". We took so much for granted, and never really took the time to question anything. Now I strongly believe that knowledge is power. Knowledge is essential, and you have to be educated about your decisions - even the small ones like whether to pay more for an organic apple. I know from being on the “other side” that it is difficult to take a hard look at how you live your life, but the changes we have made as a result of this knowledge have retrieved our son from the dark world of autism, and changed ALL of our lives for the better. I hope this blog will provide some great information to help you to make educated decisions for your growing families.
