Is Anyone Listening?

"There are many environmental issues that contribute to the health epidemics in our country, and they need to be addressed before we lose sight as a nation of what is fundamentally important in life. There will be serious repercussions for our heavy use of chemicals and “plugged in” society and people need to start taking it seriously and stop worrying about “more bars” and perfect lawns. Chronic exposure of these things also hinders the recovery of our special needs kids as well, as they have fragile immune systems. How can we possibly strengthen their immune systems in this toxic world that we are creating for them? How about all the other children without autism, but suffering from ADHD, ADD, Bipolar, asthma, OCD, ODD, sensory dysfunction, and various other illnesses? These disorders have skyrocketed in the past decade, along with autism, yet no one is asking why? The use of drugs like Ritalin is so prevalent in the United States that at colleges kids are selling them as “study enhancers.” It is truly unbelievable and horrifying.

Families with autism need help. No one can possibly imagine what life is like emotionally, financially, physically, and spiritually. The fact that so much money has been wasted, money spent looking in all the wrong directions is unconscionable. These millions of wasted dollars could have been going towards directly helping the thousands of families that are suffering with autism. To those families who have seen their child regress right after receiving multiple vaccines, it is clear what the root cause of autism is and why their immune systems are weakened to begin with. These are the people our country should be listening to. We are crying for help, and unfortunately these cries continue to fall on deaf ears.

Why is no “real” research being done regarding the link between vaccines and autism? It is same reason we still have the coal burning plants continuing to dump billions of pounds of mercury into our atmosphere: it is called Big Business, and our country needs to reprioritize its most important assets: our children and our future. The autism epidemic should have a very real purpose for our country: it is a 911 call. Wake the hell up everyone – we are in deep trouble as a nation and we better do something about it quickly. It is my hope that we will have more brave parents and supporters rise up and state what they know to be true: Autism is recoverable and preventable". (excerpt from my book...more to come!)
