Vaccines: Effective AND Safe?

I still don't understand why everyone is running out to get their annual flu shot, much less this new "swine flu" vaccine that was not even tested appropriately. I have not had a flu shot in at least 15 years, even before I became more educated about how vaccines can impact your health. Everyone always gets the flu anyway! It just never made sense to me. Family and friends would stand in line for hours to get the flu shot, only to come down with the flu anyway shortly afterwards...but it was always a "less" severe version of the flu. What? Their flu always seemed pretty bad to me. That doesn't even make sense!

Unbelievable! Yet, everyone still lines up to go get the shot. The swine flu "epidemic" has been blown way out of proportion in an effort to get everyone to panic and run out to get this vaccine, which has not been proven safe OR effective. This version of the flu has been FAR milder than the regular flu, which takes over 50,000 lives per year...but no one is talking about that.

I believe the original intent for the creation of vaccines was probably an honorable one, however things have spun so far out of control with mandatory vaccines for dozens of diseases that 1) aren't even around anymore and 2) are mostly not life threatening. The ones that are more serious can even be healed with alternative medicine, but mainstream medicine won't talk about that. Remember, viruses (and even cancer) cannot survive in a healthy immune system! Vaccine companies are large corporations that are publically traded on the New York Stock Exchange. You don't think this has turned into Big Business? You bet it has! These same drug companies have a powerful lobby presense in Washington. Talk about a serious conflict of interest! Doesn't this concern anyone else?

There has been so much panic about some pregnant women dying from the H1N1 virus, but has anyone asked about how many pregnant women die from the regular flu each year? How does it compare? Are pregnant women really dying from the swine flu, or another complication? Do they know for sure, especially since other countries have reported that only about 2% of the originally diagnosed "swine flu" cases were actually the swine flu? People will die from the flu regardless of the vaccine, which typically only addresses a couple of the various strands of the virus that is circulating. There has already been little testing done on the H1N1 vaccine in an effort to get it out quickly, but there have been no studies done on this vaccine and its effects on pregnant women and even more importantly....the unborn child. It is a huge question mark.

It is so easy for the media to stir up a panic on a virus, ANY virus, and people will panic and run out to go get the vaccine. Even better, the media will say "there is a major shortage of the vaccine! get it while you can!" so that people will get scared and immediately get vaccinated. This is where I think television can be dangerous. People will watch television, and whatever is being said there MUST certainly be the truth...almost like it is God Himself talking! I just don't get it. It is the same with doctors. Whatever they say must certainly be the truth, and there should be no room for discussion, even when they do not have all the answers. The vast majority of people will blindly believe anything their doctors tell them, even when their intuition tells them to do something different. Your intuition or “gut reaction" is never wrong.

Nicotine is addictive, and I know as I watched my own father smoke for 40 years BUT he did quit. Yea Dad!

What on earth has happened to people for them to feel that they need to be vaccinated against everything to stay well, and now even stop compulsive habits? Are people that lazy? What happened to a healthy whole foods diet, exercise, regular detoxification, and good hygiene? There are many reasons why people overeat, and giving a vaccine as a “quick fix” just doesn’t address those underlying issues. Do you know how many vaccines babies get these days? And they keep adding more and more! How many is too many? I think our skyrocketing autism rates and soaring number of learning disabilities can help to answer that question. It is just preposterous!

People never talk about the "risks" vs. the "benefits" of vaccines. Only the benefits are discussed, and you will NEVER see an ad on television for vaccinations that talk about side effects. Why is that so? On the various drug ads you will see that most of the ad talks about the side effects, but never on vaccine ads. Now that is interesting, right? The VAERS database (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) is full of adverse reactions to vaccines, including death, yet no one is talking about it? http://vaers.hhs.gov/index. When you take your child to get vaccinated, does the doctor say "ok, listen, here are the side effects to this vaccine..." Do they inform you about the ingredients in vaccines, such as formaldehyde, MSG, aluminum, thimerosal, propylene glycol, eggs, etc? In the vast majority of cases the answer is no. And in some cases if you refuse, you will be asked to find another practice. Then you will find parents vaccinating due to heavy pressure from their doctors when their intuition might be telling them otherwise.

If you do immunize, these doctors will also not tell you about the vaccine titer test, a simple blood test that can be done for the various individual viruses like measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, etc. to see how much "protective" immunity the child already has before giving more vaccines and boosters. Any doctor can do this test through a local lab (such as LabCorp), and in most cases a couple sets of shots (spread out) will provide protective titers to the various diseases instead of the 36+ that kids get before age two.

Had we done this test we would have seen that our son was WAY over vaccinated with titers ranging from 5-16x higher than protective levels. Of course the pediatricians would say "that's good! the higher the better!" Before he had autism, he had all of the "red flags": allergies, eczema, colic, reflux....all immune system dysfunctions, plus a family history of immune weaknesses such as asthma, thyroid disease, and Candida. These particular pediatricians know nothing about defective immune systems, and will continue to vaccinate blindly. Their parents are encouraged to sit by in ignorance and listen to their pediatrician. This combination can be quite detrimental to those children who are affected. And the sad truth is that more and more children are affected.

So you have just injected yourself or your child with a vaccine and have "immunity" (well after several of those) but did you give any thought to what you just put into your body? As a person of intelligence, do you seriously believe that there will be no repercussions to the viruses, chemicals, heavy metals (mercury and aluminum), and toxins you just injected into your body? Honestly? Is this really what God intended for us to do with our bodies...our temple?

Obviously people need to make their own decisions, but good gosh.....please take the extra time to make EDUCATED ones! At some point, people need to take back control of their own health! Smart lifestyle choices and healthy living are what will keep you healthy in the long run....not a shot.
